Kannibal Kratom Brand Review

The unfortunately named Kannibal Kratom has been around since 2016. Their entire aesthetic relies on xenophobic tropes about old world “savages,” which is a big strike against them. But here at The Golden Monk, we’re always eager to look beyond the marketing gimmicks (even when they’re tacky) to reach the truth. And in this case, we’re looking for one truth: is this vendor’s brand worth buying?

Kannibal Kratom Review

As a wholesale vendor, Kannibal Kratom caters to smoke shops and headshops nationwide. They do have their own website, but they do not accept orders from the general public. They offer very scant details about their products, and they also make the rather dubious claim that their products are “made with love in the USA.” Sure, they might mean that they grind leaves and encapsulate the powder in the US, but we all know that the leaves themselves are grown overseas.

Kannibal Kratom Product Line

The Kannibal Kratom brand’s product line is extremely minimalist. They sell powder and capsules, but only for two strains.

  • Powder – Bali and Maeng Da
  • Capsules – Bali and Maeng Da

What’s it Going to Cost Me?

As a headshop brand, prices can – and often will – vary widely. We took a look at a few online shops to get you a basic idea of what to expect. What we found is that most online vendors have stayed away from this brand. In fact, Google only has four pages of search results for the term “Kannibal Kratom.”

One trick that the majority of these online vendors employ is putting a much higher list price, then claiming that the products are on sale. But from what we’ve seen, the so-called discounted price is actually similar to what every other vendor is charging.

  • Powder – 30g for $20, 60g for $25
  • Capsules – 70-count for $39.99. Kannibal Kratom also sells 14 and 42-count bottles, but we didn’t find any online store offering them.

As a wholesale seller, Kannibal Kratom doesn’t offer any discount codes. Therefore, anyone who wants to buy Kratom from this brand will need to look for any applicable discounts at their favorite Mitragyna speciosa retail establishments. Keep in mind that brick and mortar locations are likely to be a bit more expensive than the online prices listed above.

Kannibal Kratom Consumer Reputation

Something that everyone should know about Kannibal Kratom’s capsules is that each one only comes with 0.6g of powder. That’s a very nominal amount, and some buyers have publicly called the brand out for it.

In one Reddit thread, people debated the overall quality of the Kannibal Kratom brand. While one forum member said, “I wasn’t impressed,” another replied that it’s “always consistent, strong, and dependable.”

Kannibal Kratom Customer Service

We don’t have any details about the customer service team behind Kannibal Kratom. However, we have seen lots of commentary about the brand’s choice of name and logo. For example, a Redditor said, “I’d be worried there were parts of people sprinkled in.” Another commented that taking it “makes me feel like the character on the packaging.”

In another Reddit thread, the brand was judged to have a “pretty edgy logo.” One person jokingly warned that “It will cause you to eat people’s faces off if you take too much.” All of this combined makes it clear that the Kannibal Kratom name may get attention, but that’s not necessarily a good thing.

In the last thread we looked at, someone alleged that Kannibal is “the same company as Experience.” We don’t know if that’s true, but we were amused by another comment: “careful…it devours.”

Bottom Line

Reviews are mixed on this brand, but most people do agree that paying the headshop brand prices should be avoided as much as possible. After all, why pay the same thing for 30g that could net you at least 100g online? There also seems to be a lot of disdain for the company’s rather ill-conceived name and logo.
