Kratom Exchange Vendor Review

Kratom Exchange is a North Carolina kratom vendor with a wide product selection and some fabulous deals. It is known for keeping its prices low enough to satisfy most comers. In recent years, however, the company has come under fire for some of its choices.

Before you place an order, you’ll want to know everything there is to know about this Southeastern kratom supplier. We’ll cover the pros and cons in our complete vendor review.

What is Kratom Exchange?

Kratom Exchange is an Old North State kratom supplier, which specializes in plantation kratom of the finest order. Only you’d never really know it from looking at its website. Kratom Exchange’s product pages are lacking in vital information. There is little to no data regarding kratom origins.

This vendor’s products are purportedly pure and unadulterated, though it offers no proof of third-party laboratory results. There are no certificates of analysis, nor is there any seal of approval from industry watchdog groups. All we know for sure is that Kratom Exchange has a lot of variety.

Rumor has it that Kratom Exchange’s farmers grow their kratom cultivars organically in a private nature preserve, where said kratom trees are harvested at the optimal period of maturity. These leaves are dried in covered barns to preserve the integrity of their alkaloid content. This makes for a more robust aroma.

It may sound like a well-oiled machine, but Kratom Exchange appears to have its fair share of kinks. For starters, its website is riddled with misinformation. The brand makes bold and seemingly inaccurate claims about its products.

What You Need to Know About This Vendor

On June 30, 2022, Kratom Exchange received a letter of warning from

the (FTC) Federal Trade Commission, urging it to address the agency’s concerns about its marketing. According to the letter, Kratom Exchange had been promoting its products in a disingenuous way, one that might pose a health risk. The FTC and the FDA classified Kratom Exchange’s products as drugs and sought changes.

More disturbing than this notice is the obvious disregard Kratom Exchange has shown for the agency’s concern. In the months since this warning letter was issued, the seller has continued to promote its kratom powder in this way. There are references to a number of health conditions and drug effects on its product pages.

Where other vendors have demonstrated a willingness to evolve, Kratom Exchange appears to be stuck in its ways. Unlike the top brands on the market, this vendor does not participate in the AKA’s GMP Standards Program. This is unfortunate because participation would have offered a chance for it to save face.

The GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) program requires participants to submit to a third-party kratom audit. Every vendor who takes part in the program must follow its guidance on product labeling, manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and more. It is a viable way for vendors to demonstrate transparency.

Kratom Exchange has done none of this, and it doesn’t look like it has any relationship with the BEA (Botanical Education Alliance), either. More alarmingly, there are few real customer reviews of Kratom Exchange online. We were unable to find a single comment about the brand on I Love Kratom.

What It Has to Offer – Products and Perks

This vendor carries a vast array of kratom powders and kratom blends. Its list of green vein kratom powder includes Batak Kratom, Green Elephant, Green Hulu, Green Maeng Da, Green Malay, Green Sumatra, and Super Green.

Its red vein kratom strains include Hurricane Kratom, Nirvana Kratom, Red Bali, Red Maeng Da, Red Sumatra, and Super Red. Its white vein kratom strains include White Bali, White Batak, White Bentuangie, White Horn, White Maeng Da, White Nirvana, White Sumatra, and Super Green.

There are also sun-dried and fermented kratom powders, such as Gold Bali and Yellow Sumatra. Although these aren’t for everyone, some patrons will appreciate their distinct aromas. The cultivation method implemented in their production yields alkaloid properties that differ from those of plain leaves.

Kratom Exchange free samples are one of the few incentives offered by this supplier. Kratom Exchange rewards curiosity by giving out three 10-gram pouches (three strains in total) to first-time buyers. All you pay is $3.99 for shipping and the package is yours.

What It Costs and How It Compares

Prices start at $9.99 for an ounce of kratom powder, with two ounces selling for $17.99. Four ounces will cost $25, while eight ounces will run you $50.00. Alternatively, you can score 500 grams for $75 or a full kratom kilo for $100.00. These prices fall well within the lower end of the current market average.

For the sake of comparison, My Brave Botanicals charges $15 for an ounce, while 99kratom.com offers 500 grams for $59.00. Others charge as much as $56-66 for 500 grams, such as Tea Time Botanical. Meanwhile, the long-established Mitragaia charges $120 for a kratom kilo.

How You Can Pay

This vendor currently accepts payments through Cashapp, as well as eChecks, and Venmo. It is unclear whether they continue to accept Bitcoin, Litecoin, and other cryptocurrencies. If you would prefer to pay by more conventional means, you may want to reach out via the company’s contact form.

Kratom Exchange Coupon Code

There are many ads for Kratom Exchange coupons online, but they are offered by third-party sites. Many of these promotional codes may be invalid or outdated. It is worth noting that there is no email newsletter advertised at this vendor’s online store. It is unlikely that you will find a verifiable Kratom Exchange coupon code.

Kratom Exchange Consumer Reputation

There is a limited number of consumer reviews for this brand. They appear to range from somewhat positive to largely negative. One user said, “I…have not had any issues with K Exchange.”

Another reviewer lamented its small batch kratom pricing, writing, “8 ounces for $65 = .29 cents/gram. Around 3x the going rate.” These Reddit posts appear to be the extent of public comment concerning this seller. We were unable to find any reviews on I Love Kratom or similar forums.

Bottom Line

Kratom Exchange may have some decent prices (depending on who you ask), but its irresponsible marketing tactics make it an unsavory prospect. This vendor’s lack of industry credentials is also a red flag. If you’d like to find viable alternatives, we suggest you check out our Complete List of the Best Kratom Vendors.
