The brand was presented as if it was superior to others on the market, but its product may not be as elite as this vendor was letting on.
Some unusual activity has led us to place this brand under our microscope. Read on for the full skinny on this Austin, TX, brand.
Kratom Wave was a Texas-based kratom supplier with a reputation for secure packaging and sublime kratom strains. That may be part of the problem.
Virtually every kratom vendor makes the same claims, promising the best quality, the lowest prices, and the most secure product. Kratom Wave is merely the latest to make such a claim.
This vendor assured customers that they were getting the best and purest kratom powders online, but the proof was conspicuously absent. Kratom Wave did not publish third-party lab results, nor did it participate in the AKA (American Kratom Association)’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) program.
Although its packaging was undoubtedly sturdy and its powder securely wrapped, the contents were anything but powerful.
The company’s kratom powders appear to have diminished in quality since the start of the global health crisis. In fact, Kratom Wave stopped engaging on Facebook in January, 2021.
In March, the company posted to the Double M Herbals forums regarding a promotion. This was the last time we dealt with this brand.
After placing an order for multiple items using the March coupon code this is what we found.
This North American supplier regularly stocked a vast assortment of Mitragyna speciosa products, such as powdered extract resin, kratom capsules, and herbal teas.
Over the years, this vendor has earned hundreds of positive product endorsements on Trustpilot, but newer reviews are harder to come by.
Powdered kratom is the preferred choice among DIY types, particularly those who wish to brew their own tea. It is also a viable choice if you’re planning to make your own kratom soap or potpourri.
This seller stocked a minimum of 24 kratom strains at the height of its success, stocked being the operative word. As of this writing, the Kratom Wave website appears to be disabled.

Prices start at $19.99 for one hundred grams of kratom powder, with a kilo going for $114.99.
White Elephant Kratom was our favorite Kratom Wave strain. White Elephant comes from the floppy oversize leaves of Mitragyna speciosa trees. These evergreen trees are cultivated in the westernmost wilds of Indonesia, and they are permitted to reach peak maturity prior to harvesting.
Kratom Wave’s White Elephant was arguably its most robust strain and one that was longer lasting than most. This vendor’s kratom powders were largely stale or unremarkable, but White Elephant was the sole exception.
White Elephant Kratom’s aroma is unpredictable and formidable, providing users with a smooth tea that packs a nutty fragrance.
This vendor is known to stock kratom tablets, which consist of pressed kratom herb in pill form. These all-natural alternatives to kratom capsules are made of pure kratom extract.
Kratom Wave’s kratom extract tablets contain high concentrations of key indole alkaloids, such as Mitragynine.
This vendor charged $19.99 for a 100-gram pouch of kratom powder. You could get two hundred fifty grams for $34.60, five hundred grams for $64.20, or a kratom kilo for $114.99.
Additionally, Kratom Wave offered a five-kilo bundle for$449.50. That’s five kilos for less than $500.00.
As you can see, the larger your order the better the price. This made Kratom Wave’s online store a hot spot for frugal consumers. For over a year, the Kratom Wave site was the place to be for bulk kratom powder.
This vendor had something of a reputation for lightning fast shipments, with the owner providing kratom same-day shipping on most orders.
Customers had their choice between Standard Mail, Priority, Priority Express, or Express Mail. Standard 4-Day Shipping cost $5.35, while Priority Mail cost $8.65 on average. Express Mail upgrades cost around $28.25.
Orders of $49.99 or more automatically received free flat rate shipping, while orders in excess of $99.99 received free Priority shipping.
Returns were accepted on a case by case basis, with unopened packages eligible for replacement or refund within 14 days of arrival.
This vendor accepted Bitcoin, CashApp, checks, credit cards, and Venmo. Kratom Wave did not offer COD (Cash On Delivery) or postal money order.
In the past, Kratom Wave has offered kratom coupon codes redeemable for as much as 50% off its products. For example, the company advertised a K Holiday Box deal in December that was good for 35% off a collection of kratom products.
Alas, no new discount codes are currently available, nor does Kratom Wave’s website function as it once did.
Despite what we saw as a hit or miss quality to its kratom strains, many in the online kratom community swore by Kratom Wave and its catalog.
Customers praised their “great quality” and “excellent product,” with one user referencing their “incredible customer service.”
Another customer recently wrote, “So sad this company has gone out of business. Apparently the owner is nowhere to be found. Enjoying my last tub now. Wish you well, sir!”
After researching Kratom Wave and reviewing its practices, it’s not difficult to see why it went belly-up. Kratom vendors that ignore quality control standards and flout FDA guidelines are asking for trouble.
This vendor failed to demonstrate purity or transparency, and it did not maintain a sustainable business model. If you’re looking to buy Kratom Wave, you’re out of luck.
