Despite frequent government scare campaigns, vaping has probably never been more popular. In fact, Gallup Polls indicate that 8 percent of Americans vape at least once per week. Vaping is especially common among younger adults, with 19 percent of people aged 18 to 29 enjoying this replacement to traditional nicotine products. Of course, entrepreneurs have ensured that e-cigarette owners have many more options than nicotine, including Kratom vape juice.
The team at Golden Monk pulled together our own report on who buys kratom – and it has similar statistics.
What is Kratom Vape Juice?
Just like every other type of vape juice, the Kratom variety includes the main component – Mitragyna speciosa – in a liquid format with a carrier oil such as VG (Vegetable glycerin) or PG (Propylene glycol). This is what enables the Kratom vape juice to be inhaled by puffing, or vaping, on the end of the e-cigarette or other similar component. Once the resulting steam has been puffed into the lungs, it is then released via the mouth just like smoke from a cigarette.
Who Sells Kratom Vape Juice?
You’re not likely to find vape juice containing Kratom in most brick and mortar smoke shops, headshops, and vaping stores. Fortunately, there are some online vendors who help meet the demand for this product. Let’s take a look at some of the best-known options.
Good as Gold Premium
Their website leaves much to be desired, but they stock a wide variety of Kratom vape juice. They’ve also been selling this Mitragyna speciosa product since at least 2014. You’ll primarily find three different categories of brand names:
- Super King
- Purple Haze
- Super Kratom
Vape juice from Good as Gold comes in quantities ranging from 12ml to 50ml. This vendor also has everything from multi-strain blends to extracts, along with items such as Maeng Da with custard flavored juice (Super King Kratom E-Liquid XXXtra Strength Complex Custard). Prices start as low as $15.99 and go up to $44.99.
Kratom Extract Vape
Sold from online vendors such as the Legal Herb Shop, this brand has dubbed themselves “the leading manufacturer of the highest quality Kratom extract made specifically for vaping.” Of course, this is marketing blurb. So, as always, take the manufacturer’s claims with a grain of salt.
Either way, Kratom Extract Vape does have it where it counts when it comes to veins and flavors. You’ll be able to choose from:
- Green Vein – Berry Flavor
- White Vein – Pina Colada Flavor
- Red Vein – Strawberry
Each of these Kratom vape juice options has the Mitragyna speciosa carried in VG oil. Pricing on Legal Herb Shop has the 15ml juice at $24.99 and the 30ml juice at $47.99.
Kratom Vapes
Established in 2016, Kratom Vapes sells their solitary product to the general public and wholesalers. Pricing on their site is for the general public. To get a wholesale price quote, be sure to contact Kratom Vapes directly.
Their option is Kratom Vapes Maeng Da e-Liquid Kratom. This 30ml bottle contains 40x concentrated Maeng Da and VG. It retails for $19.95.
What Happened to Other Brands?
There have been a few other popular brands, but one by one, they’ve stopped producing Kratom vape juice. This is most likely due to all the government pressure that’s been placed on any company that makes or sells flavored vape juice. When you combine that with government pressure regarding Kratom sales, it has created a less than suitable environment for manufacturers of Mitragyna speciosa juice.
Can You Make Your Own Kratom Vape Juice?
There are definitely several websites that offer tips for making your own vape juice. There are, of course, some pros and cons associated with the DIY approach. The first thing you need to know is to be careful, both with how you mix things together and with smoking from a vape pen in the first place. If you’re comfortable with those guidelines, you can start by gathering four items:
- Kratom powder (preferably extracts)
- Distilled water
- Propylene glycerin
- Vegetable glycerin
There are several YouTube videos that will show you how to mix the ingredients and how to add the Kratom vape juice to your e-cigarette.
Final Thoughts
Although a lot of people are turned off by the idea, there’s actually a long history of people smoking Kratom. Therefore, we’re not at all surprised that some enterprising companies and Mitragyna speciosa enthusiasts found a way to make vape juice. The question of whether or not vaping safe is one that we can’t answer for you. Just remember to do your research. And, as always, buy Kratom from reputable vendors only.
