LI Herbals is an East coast kratom vendor with a strange and somewhat divisive history. It has gone by a number of aliases, including LIH Tea Company.
Although it has been celebrated by customers for its competitive pricing and split kilos, LI Herbals remains a lesser-known domestic brand.
Some have called LI Herbals an underrated brand, while others have lamented the scarcity of legit customer reviews. Virtually all customers agree that it deserves more attention.
If you’re looking to buy kratom from this supplier you’ll want to read on for the full skinny on LIH Tea Company and its online store.
There is a shameful lack of information about LIH Tea Company on its website—the About Us page amounts to little more than a sentence about how safe its products are. What’s missing is an introduction to its owners or staff or so much as a hint about its background.
Here’s what we know for sure:
Based on our research, LI Herbals is a kratom vendor operating out of New York State. Perhaps the weirdest thing about this brand is its physical location.
Despite what its name would suggest, LI Herbals is not located on Long Island. On the contrary, LIH Tea Company fills all orders at a facility in Delaware, NY.
If you’re unfamiliar with the East coast, Delaware is a town of 2,670 residents in Upstate, NY. It is a small mountain town in rural Sullivan County, which is approximately two hours away from Manhattan, and three hours and twenty minutes away from Long Island.
Why a company from Upstate would pass itself off as LI-owned is anybody’s guess. It is both suspicious and troubling, not least because it sets a precedent. If they would lie about their origins why wouldn’t they lie about other stuff?
Speculation aside, LI Herbals has a track record for sourcing quality kratom strains at a reasonable price. Whereas so many online suppliers limit their purchasing options to small-batch kratom or overly expensive kilos, LIH Tea Company provides consumers with split kilos and kratom samples.
This vendor carries a range of unique kratom powders and ethnobotanicals. Each is offered in a variety of sizes for your convenience.
LI Herbals’ current collection of kratom powders includes Bentuangie Kratom, Full Spectrum Blend, Gold Aceh, Green Elephant Indo, Green Maeng Da Crushed Leaf, Green Malaysian, Red Malaysian, White Malaysian, and Yellow Maeng Da.
If you have any trouble understanding the site’s abbreviations remember that G stands for Green and Y stands for Yellow. When different combinations of these letters occur you are looking at a variety pack or split kilo, which enables you to try each of kratom’s distinct vein colors—green, red, and white, respectively.
LI Herbals’ best kratom strain is White Malaysian, a lush white vein powder with a transcendent aroma that’s earthy, bold, and long-lasting. White Malaysian Kratom makes for a sweet tea or an evocative potpourri.
This is not to discount this vendor’s green vein or red vein, which both have their merits. On the contrary, LI Herbals Green Maeng Da Crushed Leaf is some of the most robust stuff we’ve tried. However, White Malaysian is still leaps and bounds ahead of it in terms of duration and fragrance.
A four-strain sample pack containing one hundred twenty grams of powder goes for $11.25, which makes for some significant savings when compared to what one would ordinarily pay for a single strain ounce.
For the sake of comparison, Earth Goodness charges as much as $15 for twenty eight grams of Pur Kratom powder, while Happy Hippo Herbals charges $12 for the same.
We think you’ll agree that LI Herbals has superior pricing, but let’s put it into perspective. At $11.25 for one hundred twenty grams, you are paying about nine cents per gram.
There is a limit of one sample pack per order, but it should only take one for you to figure out what you find most appealing.
The deals only get better from here; you can get thirty grams for five bucks, two hundred fifty grams for $30, or a kilo (one thousand grams) for as little as $75.00.
In terms of pricing, LI Herbals is in an exclusive class of vendors who pass their savings onto their customers. Instead of price gouging they bank on your return business once you see that they are cheaper than the competition.
At $75, you will be paying less than eight cents per gram. This is a terrific choice, to be sure, but it isn’t the best deal of the bunch. That honor is reserved for LI Herbals’ split kilos.
This seller offers two and four-way splits on the strains of your choosing. You can get a two-way split of White and Yellow Vein Kratom for $80.00.
Each of this vendor’s powders is available in capsule form. Kratom capsules contain five hundred milligrams of kratom powder, making it easy to swallow and enjoyable for those with sensitive gag reflexes.
LIH Tea Company’s kratom capsules are vegetarian and manage to mask the naturally bitter taste of kratom plant matter.
Capsules start at $28 for a 250-count bottle, with each bottle consisting of two hundred worth of powder.
This supplier offers an assortment of favorable payment options, such as Amazon Pay, American Express, Discover, JCB, VISA.
Unfortunately, LI Herbals does not accept Bitcoin, opting instead to accept credit/debit cards and PayPal.
If you sign up for this vendor’s email newsletter you will receive LI Herbals Kratom coupon codes, product updates, special offers, and free giveaways.
LIH Tea Company ships all of its order via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Prices start at $5.54 for First Class Mail.
You can select Priority Mail for $8.95 or upgrade to Express Mail for $28.85. In light of current post office delays it is advisable to pay extra for Express service.
Tracking information is provided once your shipping label has been printed. Tracking is sent from Pitney Bowes, a management service that simplifies commerce, finance, and mailing for small businesses. This service ensures that every transaction goes smoothly.
Alas, there are no guarantees with this vendor. You do not get the obligatory 30-day return window offered by most online vendors.
That being said, LI Herbals has always been good about issuing refunds if a customer accidentally places a duplicate order or if an item is sent to a customer in error.
Reddit may not have a lot about LIH, but what they do have is generally good.
Their website doesn’t mention anything about refunds, so it’s fair to assume that they don’t offer them. Despite this, people seem genuinely happy with their customer service, especially the free spoon!
As you can see, LIH Tea Company may not be the biggest name on the Kratom scene, but they’ve definitely got some big fans. With lower prices than many, why not give them a try?
