The subject of today’s vendor review, Canopy Kratom, is based out of North Carolina. Also known as Canopy Botanicals, they’re been around for a few years and have rightfully gained a reputation for selling a wide variety of products.
Canopy Kratom focuses mostly on teas, handmade soaps, spices, seasonings, and apparel. In fact, unlike in years past, you won’t find any Kratom products listed in the usual places. That doesn’t mean it’s not there, though. It’s just cleverly hidden.
The buzz on Canopy Kratom shows us that some consumers really like this vendor. Meanwhile, others are a bit suspicious of their pricing, which we’ll get into below. One thing that everyone seems to agree on is that their non-Kratom products are very interesting. For example, they sell a refreshing Mountain Air soap, along with Oolong Tea and Applewood Smoked Sea Salt.
As mentioned above, the product line sold by Canopy Kratom (AKA Canopy Botanicals) is quite diverse. This vendor clearly doesn’t rely on Kratom as their primary source of sales – at least not anymore – which helps explain why they’ve rebranded as Canopy Botanicals.
You have to search to find Kratom on this website. None of it is listed on their menus. Make sure to enter “Mitragyna speciosa” in the search bar, then click on the first item in the dropdown menu. If you don’t follow the last step mentioned, you’ll get a page that says “no results found.”
Alternatively, you can try what one Redditor jokingly suggested to access Canopy’s Kratom products:
“Go outside with a 1:2:1 mix of pepper, nutmeg, and ginger, place them in a circle, and say the sacred words. At this point, you want to leave them outside for a while (2-4 hours will do). Just make sure it’s night out when you do. When you come back out to get them, you should have yourself the kratom listings!”
Once you find the Canopy Botanicals line of Kratom products, you’ll be greeted by 22 strains. Each strain starts at 25g. If you’re looking for bulk quantities, you can get up to 1,000g (1 kilo). Options include the standard strains such as Green Maeng Da, Red Thai, and White Maeng Da. There are also several less common strains and blends, including Stargazer Blend, Green Asia, Red Ketapang, Royal Bentuangie, and Wild White.
This is where things get a bit tricky. As Kratom Crazy pointed out, $3.50 for 25g of Kratom is ridiculously low. On the plus side, at least you won’t be out a lot of money if you try Canopy Kratom’s products and don’t like them. Other reputable vendors have questioned Canopy Kratom’s ability to set such a low price tag. It is worth noting that $3.50 somehow becomes $3.80 when you select a 25g bag for your cart.
Canopy Botanicals has regularly offered coupon codes since back in the days when they focused on Kratom. As of September 2019, you can get free shipping with orders of $25 or more. This may or may not require the code ‘FREE’ to activate. They also let you combine free shipping with a 10 percent off coupon code. Enter ‘THANKSILK’ during checkout to get this additional discount.
The low price of this vendor’s Kratom doesn’t seem to have scared off the Reddit community. If anything, they’ve been happy to embrace Canopy Botanicals. Reviewers point out that “Red Thai, Red Hulu, and White Hulu are incredible” and that “you can’t go wrong with any of their products.”
The above comments are very indicative of the overall Reddit vibe for Canopy Kratom. No matter which name you look up, you’ll easily find tons of glowing reviews from satisfied customers. A quick Google search outside of Reddit shows much the same, although one person did say that their Red Maeng Da is “weaker than weak.” As always, there are a lot of factors that can impact each Kratom enthusiast’s experience.
Customer service is another area where Canopy Kratom impresses Redditors. People have pointed out that Canopy ships super quickly and that the owner, Alan, is “incredibly friendly.” Furthermore, Reddit members say that Alan “cares about his customers.”
There are many places to buy Kratom, but few are as inexpensive as Canopy Kratom.
