A few years ago, there were many Kratom vendors that sent out free samples. Now, however, that’s become mostly a thing of the past. The good news is that several companies do still offer Kratom sample packs at reasonable prices, which makes it much easier to determine what strains and vendors you should continue buying versus those that belong in you “never again” pile. Let’s take a look at some of the Best Kratom sample packs currently available!
First, let’s take a look at what you can reasonably expect from a Kratom sample pack. In the vast majority of cases, these samples are going to be quite small and may not be enough for you to get your normal single-time amount of Mitragyna speciosa. The general idea is to give you a hint of each sample’s performance and quality, so that’s really all you should expect.
You’ll find some vendors that are awesome enough to toss in freebies with an order. Others may add a bit of extra weight to each Kratom order for those who are regular customers. But getting a free Kratom sample pack without any other purchase has mostly gone the way of the dodo bird for one simple reason: it’s not cost effective.
Not only were companies tasked with absorbing the cost of the free product, they also had to pay for packaging, shipping, labor, etc. to get those samples in the mail. And sadly, there were several Mitragyna speciosa enthusiasts who simply bounced from vendor to vendor to get free samples without actually supporting those who had put so much effort into providing good faith samples. With a situation like that, it’s no wonder that most companies quickly put the kibosh on free samples.
Much like Kratom strains themselves, any list of the best Kratom sample packs is going to be debatable. That’s because we all have our favorites, and what works for one person may do absolutely nothing for another. Therefore, to keep this list as balanced as possible, we’re using the following methodology: Every vendor on the list must have reasonably priced samples, a decent reputation, and good reviews. Aside from that, we won’t be listing these Kratom companies in any specific order.
This vendor provides a sample three-pack that includes 8 grams each of a Red, Green, and White Vein Kratom. In total, you get 24g, which is pretty close to the standard 1 oz size, for only $7.99. Lively Mood also periodically includes product coupons to sweeten the deal. Over on I Love Kratom, a reviewer indicated that this vendor’s products are good quality (80/100) and that their customer service is excellent (100/100).
Popular vendor Krabot takes a completely different approach to their sample packs. Instead of providing a tiny amount for a minimal price, Krabot has put five M samples together to equal 250g. As you can imagine, this pack is priced accordingly at $39.99. But it’s also a fantastic way to find out if this company’s Kratom is right for you.
The sample pack comes with 50g each of Green Bali, Green Maeng Da, Green Malay, Red Horn, and White Maeng Da. If those aren’t the right strains for you, don’t worry; Krabot also has a wide variety of other sample packs ranging from $19.99 to $298.99 (includes 200g each of 10 strains, for a total of 2 kilos). Unlike most vendors, you can even get sample packs with capsules.
Cali Botanicals is another well-known company that takes a combo approach to their sample packs. For only $25.50, you can get 25g each (for a total of 125g) of five best-selling strains:
Each strain is just slightly shy of 1 oz, giving Kratom enthusiasts a decent amount to test. You’ll also save money by purchasing this sample pack because Cali Botanicals typically sells 25g packs for $6.50 ($32.50 for 25g each of five strains). Forum members on Reddit aren’t always the most complimentary toward this vendor, but they do have a 4.5-star average on Google from more than 125 reviewers.
Most of our readers are probably already familiar with Kay Botanicals as they’ve secured a decent reputation for themselves within the Kratom community. They also offer a variety of sample packs in different strains and sizes, so if you’ve never tried them before, now might be the time.
This vendor’s sample pack offerings include Bali Powder, Beginner Kratom, and Maeng Da Powder. Depending on which type and size you choose, prices will vary from $7.42 – $45.20. So, how much bang do you get for your buck?
Yet another company to eschew the idea of individual samples in favor of a true sample pack, The Kratom Connection has put 10 strains together (in individual packaging) to equal 150g for $65. Each strain listed below comes with 15g to help you try out this vendor’s products.
You’ll also receive free USPS Priority Mail shipping when you order this sample pack.
As you can see, the most popular method for offering Kratom samples is via multi-packs. This makes more sense for the vendor as it enables them to send customers a wider selection and is also more cost effective. And for customers, this method is certainly better than committing to a much larger pack, only to find out that they don’t like it.
