This extract is widely touted for its ability to get your Mojo rising, but speculation aside, experts have observed some nasty adverse reactions, including anxiety, increased heart rate, and elevated blood pressure.
Elevated heart rate is frequently mentioned in regard to kratom use, with some experts suggesting that kratom use can lead to high blood pressure and other heart-related conditions. Higher dosages of kratom are associated with the potential for tachycardia. Combining these two may exacerbate these problems.
California poppy aerial part extract is derived from the bright orange flower of the same name. Traditionally brewed in tea, california poppy extract has become increasingly popular due to its mellow properties and sweet aroma. However, this extract can lead to sleepiness and slow breathing.
Similarly, kratom can cause drowsiness and other undesirable reactions. When you combine two substances that exhibit similar properties you may compound these problems and intensify any imminent side effects. For this reason, California poppy extract and kratom cannot and should not mix.
The same is true of other ingredients in this proprietary blend. Zen K Shots contain passion flower extract, boswella serrata resin extract, corydalis yanihusuo rhizome extract, and coryceps mushroom powder, all of which can be detrimental on their own. This combination could prove especially dangerous in certain individuals.
