Mojo Kratom Vendor Review – The Good and The Bad

"Mojo kratom vendor review: the good and the bad" banner

Some kratom brands lack flare but make up for it with freshness. Other brands are all about the flare, so much so that they ignore quality control entirely. Mojo Kratom appears to be an example of the latter camp. This smoke shop kratom products has the stylistic look customers have come to expect of headshop kratom without the potency or purity most consumers demand. If you’ve been mulling a Mojo Kratom purchase, you’ll want to read our comprehensive vendor review. Find out why Mojo Kratom lacks the charm and power its name would suggest.

Mojo Kratom Review

Mojo Kratom is a product of Syncheco, a Louisiana-based company with offices in New Orleans. This manufacturer and distributor produces a wide range of products, such as CBG Hemp Gummies and Gold Reserve Kratom Extract. The company mascot is a grinning donkey in a suit and tie, his head topped by a unicorn’s horn. This image seems to suggest that Syncheco is targeting a young and, perhaps, naive customer base. By using such a bizarrely amusing and ultimately silly image for its About Us page, the brand appears to be signaling to millennials that it is hip to the Adult Swim-style humor they grew up on. What’s more, it clearly signifies that it is a business run by people who are more interested in having fun than making money.

In reality, nothing could be farther from the truth. Syncheco’s Mojo Kratom is designed to grab consumer attention and hold it. Each batch of Mojo Pimp Kratom comes in a colorful packet emblazoned with a trippy font and a cartoon illustration of a voodoo doll clutching a pimp cane. There is nothing inherently wrong with flashy packaging or shrewd marketing visuals. However, you should be wary of any product that’s all about style without regard for substance. Mojo Kratom has the look of a good brand, but it lacks the credentials to make it legit. Syncheco does not participate in the AKA’s GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) program, nor has it been approved as a vendor on platforms like I Love Kratom.

To get a better understanding of who and what we’re talking about here, you can visit Syncheco on social media. There you’ll learn about how this limited liability company got its start and discover the other products it has to offer. Other items include such obvious stoner bait as Tap Dat Ash and Effin Clean. In other words, Syncheco is, by and large, a paraphernalia shop vendor whose inventory is predominantly geared toward head shop customers.

Mojo Kratom Product Line

mojo kratom products

Syncheco’s Mojo Kratom line consists of raw kratom powder and kratom capsules, with little variation from strain to strain. The brand is most well-known for its Maeng Da Kratom. The deviation between strains is negligible, with Green Veined Malay Kratom and Maeng Da Kratom sharing what we feel are identical aromas and duration.

Mojo Kratom Powders : This vendor offers Mojo Pimp Kratom, AKA Maeng Da Kratom, as well as Bali Kratom and Green Malay. These kratom powders are surprisingly smooth, but each is suspiciously odorless. In other words, each kratom powder lacks the pungent scent and bitter taste of most all-natural kratom. This may be a matter of an off batch, but our experience suggests Mojo Kratom may be overly sifted or otherwise adulterated. The latest additions to Syncheco’s catalog include Alert Red Maeng Da and Serene Green Malaysian. As we mentioned earlier, Syncheco Green Malaysian Kratom has very little to offer. It is a mild tea that is neither weak nor bracing.

Mojo Kratom Best Strain : The only strain that struck us as particularly fragrant was Bali Kratom. This red vein kratom powder comes from the island of Borneo in the Central Kalimantan province. Bali Kratom is grown in a biodiverse rainforest that provides mineral-dense soil and plenty of tropical weather conditions. In many cases, the region’s winds yield kratom leaves of superior maturity. In others, the tempestuous nature of the climate can destroy an entire crop. Based on our experience with this vendor, one can safely imagine that it does not inspect its kratom for quality control standards. Although it was free from any undesirable plant matter, it lacked the strength commonly associated with Bali veins.

Mojo Kratom Capsules : This vendor offers each of its strains in capsule form, though it does not make clear on its site whether these capsules are 00 size or 000 size. No information is provided about the milligram amount of kratom powder in each cap. You can get a 32-count of Mojo Kratom Pimp Kratom capsules for $12.00.

Mojo Kratom Extracts : While the Mojo Kratom brand doesn’t officially offer a kratom extract, Synche now carries Zion Herbals Gold Reserve Kratom Extract. This extract is available in capsule and tincture form. Gold Reserve Kratom Extract contains 45% Mitragynine, making it one of the most robust extract powders on the market. Each 15 milliliter liquid kratom shot contains 30% Mitragynine. In the interest of full disclosure, we did not review these kratom extracts at the time of this review. Therefore, we cannot comment on the veracity of the manufacturer’s labeling or claims.

What’s It Gonna Cost Me?

You can buy twenty grams of kratom powder for $12, a price that’s listed as a sale. Originally, Syncheco charged $16 for this insubstantial amount of kratom. To put this in perspective, one must remember that an ounce contains approximately twenty-eight grams. Therefore, Mojo Kratom is more expensive than your average twenty-eight grams despite it being smaller than a one-ounce pouch. Most online kratom vendors charge somewhere between five and fifteen dollars for an ounce of kratom powder. For example, Kats Botanicals charges $5.99, while Bumble Bee Kratom charges $14.99. At $12 for twenty grams, you are paying an offensively high 60 cents per gram. That is at least 25 cents more than you would pay at most online kratom shops.

Mojo Kratom Consumer Reputation

Despite the dubious nature of this company’s kratom products, consumers have responded positively to many of its kratom strains. One member on Reddit said, “My friend has been bragging up a storm about Mojo brand Kratom, especially their Pimp variety. He says a tea made with a full 16g pouch will be perfect.” Many bloggers have written extensively about this brand and its kratom capsules, with several reviewers giving it four-star ratings or better.

Bottom Line

Kratom tea

In light of Synche’s lack of GMP participation or third-party laboratory certification, we are hesitant to recommend Mojo Kratom to our readers. Based on our research, Mojo Kratom is neither potent nor fresh. For this reason, we urge consumers to ask questions before purchasing this product.
